Tone & Feel:

I had the chance to test it side by side with an identical 2023 VOS model, which on paper is closer to 1950s specifications and weighed only 3.7 kg. The two instruments were simply not in the same league. This 2005 model completely blew it away. Amplified, it delivered a much more percussive, warmer, and fuller tone. Even acoustically, you could clearly hear that this instrument has matured beautifully, with a more balanced and well-developed sound.

Condition:

Considering its age, it is in very nice, well-cared-for condition. Minor signs of use may be present, but it is structurally and electronically flawless and has been freshly set up.
